Background

The Bev and Robin Poole Trust was established by Robin Poole to assist disadvantaged and/or needy boys and girls 18 years or less. The Trust comes under the Bendigo Diocesan Trusts Corporation which is administered by the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo.

Purpose of the Trust

The Trust is for the maintenance, advancement and education of children and youth.

Eligibility

The potential beneficiary must:

  • be 18 years of age or less;
  • reside within the Anglican Parish of Swan Hill;
  • be in necessitous circumstances.

The applicant does not have to have any religious affiliation.

Areas within the Swan Hill Parish include,

  • Lake Boga
  • Nyah
  • Nyah West
  • Piangil
  • Swan Hill
  • Ultima
  • Woorinen

Applicants will be contacted regarding the outcome of their application.

Application of Funds

 Funds could be used for but not limited to:

  • School uniforms
  • School books
  • School camp fees
  • Clothing or gear for camps
  • Musical tuition
  • Cultural activities
  • Sporting equipment and activities

Funds are dispersed annually.

Decisions on applications will be made each year depending on the funds available so there is no certainty of continued funding.
