Remembrance Day Brings Good Attendances

At Christ Church on Sunday morning, fifty people attended our service which had a Remembrance Day theme. The sermon spoke of the cost of love and acknowledged the price paid by Australia’s service men and women, not just in the great war but in the many conflicts since. The intercessions included prayers for PEACE. The Rev Denis Gell had to slip away early to meet his commitments as RSL Chaplain for the service at the Cenotaph.

Twenty-six (compared to the usual 16 or 18) attended at Alcheringa on Saturday where staff had put together an apt display for Remembrance Day.
